Yuvraj Singh as the name indicates always is the would-be king of Indian cricket.
As the limelight centered around Sachin Tendulkar or any other timely kings of the cricket field, he never left the field, without making his presence felt.
(Be it as a flop or in setting new records). However, the last months of 2007 brought Yuvraj Singh really into limelight with the continuous six sixers in Twenty 20 world cup and rumors with the present dream girl Deepika Padukone.
A tall, well-built lad, Yuvraj Singh has undoubtedly added some interesting flavour to the Indian middle-order through the test debut at Mohali in March 2003 against New Zealand. He is regarded as a better player of fast bowling with a good aim at the stumps. He was the fourth most prolific fielder in effecting ODI run outs and of those on the list of prolific fielders, he had the second highest rate of affecting a run out.
Yuvraj's success in the maiden field took him to the new fields of life very soon. After the 2003 Cricket World Cup, Yuvraj was signed by Yorkshire, becoming only the second Indian after Tendulkar to represent the county. In 2006 he was signed by Microsoft to be a brand ambassador for the Xbox 360 video game console when it was launched in India. He also started to appear on advertisements alongside the bollywood giants. Codemaster's cricket video game Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 was released with his endorsement in India titled "Yuvraj Singh International Cricket 2007."
